Dún Laoghaire Votes Emphatically to Mandate Passive House from 2016

Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council voted on 14th October to mandate Passive House as a requirement for all new buildings in their 2016 to 2022 County Development Plan. The vote was emphatic with 26 in favour and 13 against. This vote will undoubtedly put Ireland on the global-map as a leader in energy efficiency standards for new construction.
