We love what we do and believe we are very good at it but don't just take our word for it. Here's what some of our graduates have to say...
I wanted to thank you again for bringing enthusiasm, encouragement and instruction loaded with accessible lines of reasoning peppered with memorable turns of phrase that were not just entertaining but integral to learning. I have received great feedback about the class so far; everybody is looking forward to the next session.
I wanted to ask a PHA if they/you might be in a position to support phME through a sponsorship or corporate membership. I have attached a letter about sponsorship and our membership levels are on the website. www.passivhausMAINE.org. As you know these passive house organization are often run on a shoe string, predominantly with a volunteer staff promoting systems, products and practioners of passive house. In addition, if you feel inspired to write a few words of endorsement of passivhausMAINE it would be wonderful to use them in our promotion.
Thank you, Tomas
Naomi Beal, Director, passivhausMAINE
I'd been a CPHC for years, and sat through more consultant-training classes than most (and taught parts of a couple), when I took the Passive House Academy's series. They had a lot to teach me. Whether you are new to Passive House, or already experienced and hungry for more, I expect you will get a lot from this course. PH educational offerings have expanded since I first became involved, and I am sure there are many great teachers out there, but Tomas is the best I have encountered.

I would like to express our sincere gratitude, again, to both you and Michael for the most intense and amazing course we have taken since working in the profession. You guys did a fantastic job of conveying the material to us in the most efficient, clear, and enjoyable manner possible.

Thanks for a really interesting and challenging class. It's made me remember how much I enjoy being a student. The architects in study group were commenting on how this type of information is not covered at all in architecture school except possibly as an elective.
Betsy Humes, Passive House Consultant
It's rare I've come across something really world class, but what you're doing in Finglas hits this level! My colleagues were very impressed with the set-up as well as well as the depth of knowledge and enthusiasm that both yourself and Michael put forth for the subject.
Mike Prendergast, Coláiste Dhúlaigh
Bob Ryan did a truly fantastic job in NYC last week. This was by far the best seminar I on PHPP that I ever had.

Thanks to you, Cramer and Ed again for a fantastic course. You all were excellent teachers and made the material really interesting and easy to digest and we were delighted to have passed the exam. Hope to get our first PH project sometime soon.
Rebecca Schmidt, LEED® AP ID+C, Associate Director, CodeGreen Solutions
Thanks Tomas for making this a very rich learning experience. I hope we meet again. The rigor and practical applications were great. My pen had a hard time keeping up! This training exceeded my expectations. Viva Passive House!
Jim Waterman, Philadelphia
I want to say thank you very much for the course which, (speaking as a tutor in UCD in a former life! ) was a superb and very clear presentation of some very complex issues for us non-experts; I've been on many CPD and other courses in the past thirty years of practice and I can honestly say that this was one of the most interesting, engaging and well presented I've attended.
David McHugh, McHugh O Cofaigh Architects
I just want to let you know that Bud and I thought the course yesterday was excellent. Tomas has a talent for providing information coherently and entertaining at the same time. Often presentations about passive house design cover the details without an overall framework. By contrast, Thomas offered an overview of the key components, showing how the details fit within those elements. The presentation yesterday was one of the best to date! Thanks for organizing the event.

The Passive House Tradesperson class not only provides great information for the beginner builder, the class creates a forum of advanced builders who have had successful projects to share and discuss other opportunities and ways of achieving the detailed results that are needed.
The instructors of the class are both knowledgeable in the complete home systems, and a variety of materials that are needed to achieve the results. As an experienced Passive home builder I highly recommend this class to anyone that wishes to build, contract, be part of a growing community of Passive House enthusiast.
Lloyd Tuckman, President & CEO, Bright Star Service
Very interesting and informative course. It allowed me to understand the importance of communication with my subcontractors to accomplish the Passiv house standard. Having an instructor that works in the field makes a big difference. With this experience and PHA's expertise I was able to hit .331 ACH on my first project. I look forward to taking my next class from PHA.
