Brussels Passive House Study Tour October 2016
Who should go?
Architects, developers, city and county officials and building design professionals that wish to experience large-scale NZEB projects taking place in a region which is a world leader in sustainable construction.
The trip is hosted by Tomás O’Leary, Co-Founder of Passive House Academy. Tomás hosted a similar trip in 2015 for a delegation from North America which was successful in helping to move both policy and projects on the ground in NYC and Vancouver.
Feedback from 2015 Mission to Brussels
"PHA’s fact-finding trip, to experience and learn first-hand how Brussels went Passive, was an invaluable and inspirational trip. Tomás O’Leary was a flawless and fun guide, who connected us with both the key, high-level Ministers and policy-makers, as well as the architects, contractors and developers, who are leading Brussels' Passive House revolution. The people
we met and the projects we saw provided a tangible vision of how to effectively build capacity and implement a successful low energy building standard. PHA’s insiders tour of Brussels Passive House transformation is a mustfor all who seek real, effective solutions to our climate crisis."
